The Beginning of a new year and new journeys

Its the beginning of 2008 and many people, including myself, have many new year resolutions or better yet goals. I, for one, am looking forward to outlining my goals and figuring out the smartest ways to achieve them. Working smart, rather than hard, has pervaded every facet of my life-so adding another challenge to the equation is all the more merrier. The following are my goals for 2008 and more will come. I pray for moderation so I won't get overwhelmed, but here goes:

  1. Be Better at Being Eric

  2. Following my passions and not worrying about superificial, external garbage getting in the way of attaining them.

  3. Eat Less

  4. Drink Less

  5. Party Less

  6. Less worrying about others-focus on myself achieving the first 5 goals and finding a balance between my life and caring about other people

  7. Exercise more

At 24, you kind of have to look in the rear-view mirror to check up on what you've done since college. At 25, I hope to take a slightly longer stare to see what I have really achieved especially these few goals I've set, so I can see how far I've come. I'm a tough critic on myself...so that'll be discussed, in length, on my next posting!

Stay Tuned!
